Hellmar,
This is ridiculous. I have no intention of paying a very high price for a magazine (sorry, not interested in excuses why the price is high) PLUS high shipping charges for a magazine to learn about basic things relating to Eve. By all means have EON, but as soon as it becomes the "only way to find out things", you're moving away from a subscription model to a subscription + expansion model - the VERY model which you say you don't want.
This is, to me, a pretty much "put up or shut up" issue on that. So, is Eve subscription or subscription + expansion?

Oveur, MMO players naturally overreact. It's been over 2 years and you don't get that?
Heck, I KNOW I do :)

who wants to join a server where people have 2.5 years experiance on you when you can join a brand new shard? new players could go into a universe with lots of history, or join a new shard and make the history their own.
i'm kind of dissapointed with a second shard, although i can see reason for it. i fear the affects it could have on TQ though, since i love it soo much.
The new shard will be in Chinese, Soren. How many American game playrs do you know who speak...

You're not a coder are you? It shows.

called stealing btw
BS. Look for the definition of stealing in a dictionary and explain how making a digital copy of something is stealing. You're just repeating the lies of a certain industry.

Stealing? not in the literal translation of the word.
Illegal? Yes.
Distributing someone elses work without their permission is BAD. If you don't want to pay for it, don't pay for it. But don't think you're entitled to getting a copy even though you refuse to pay.
/musician who HATES how people attempt to justify their shady actions.
Sure Altrus. Just don't try and justify YOUR position on economic grounds. Because it dosn't wash. See: Baen Books. (and yes, I work in an industry where IP is critical too)
